What kind of workout/diet plan do stars follow to pack on muscle for movie roles? Examples that spring to mind are Daniel crags transformation for his role in Casino royal, Edward Nortons transformation for American History X (could hardly recognise the guy) Christian Bail going from "The Machinist" to Batman and will smith as Mohamed Ali…
How did they do it? is there some sort of secret training method to acheive this level of mass gain? I’v been working out for 7 months with reasonable success but nothing near that level….

i asked a simular thing only to build for rugby i got this answer
- protein is the building block of life, you need lots of protein in your diet in order to make muscle mass. this can be obtained from eating meats, chicken, fish etc as well as many other food types. there are also lots of protein supplements available in health food shops (maximuscle is one brand) you need a good quality whey protein. it is no use just doing weights without feeding the body to be able to build more…. its like buidling a house with no bricks. if you take on too much protein (or mix the drink with milk) then you may find that you sometimes get diorrhoea after drinking the shake.
also having 6 slightly smaller meals in a day can work to build up that 3 larger meals. remember its not an excuse to eat a bad diet though, remember to keep the greens coming in.
here is a good example of a diet for building up.
breakfast
musli with banana and nuts and seeds on top and a protein shake
mid morning
snack of another piece of fruit and something with grains in it
lunch
sandwich on wholegrain bread with some tuna in it as well as salad, a yoghurt, fruit juice and a grain bar.
afternoon
snack on something simliar to the morning snack
dinner
meal with meat, legumes and plenty of vegetables
when you go to the gym make sure you have some more protein in your diet and you need to make sure when you do your weights that on your last rep you cant quite complete the number that you want to do. for example: if you normally do 3 sets of ten you want to be worn out on the ninth push on the 3rd set…
hope this helps…it did me (just remeber to keep your diet healthy and dont push yourself too much with the weights) References :
